Subject: query about discrete choice modelling (when is spss going to
              offer this)
Content-Type: text/plain

Hi all,

I am disappointed that spss have not developed in this area (suite of discrete models), and continue to roll out the same old conjoint module time and time again!!!!

Are there any plans to launch discrete choice modelling models in future releases?

I have been reviewing all the different software for choice modelling and cannot decide on what would offer me the broadest set of modelling capabilities and at the same time ease of use.

Do people have a default package that you use or recommend for this type of analysis?

Sawtooth NLogit LatentChoice Biogeme Open sourced R

Sorry if this is off list spec.

Regards Paul
