Subject: Closing table programatically and sending message to screen
Comments: To: sas-l@uga.edu

Hi - I have a big macro which takes 20 minutes or so to run. Trouble is if any of the sas tables is uses are open it fails.

Is there a programatic way of closing a table if it's open?

Alternatively, I am thinking there must be a way of getting a little pop up of some sort to appear to say "Ensure all Tables closed" (or something).

Or.... any other ideas?

Thanks

Andrew
