Just like other variables.
It would really help if you would please please PLEASE write more than
just a repeat of the subject line. I have no idea what you are asking
about, since you don't supply any context or 'big picture'.
I'm going to take an insane guess based on your previous posts and
assume that you are looking at stepwise selection of categorical variables.
Don't do it. stepwise selection using categorical variables is even more
mistaken than stepwise selection on continuous variables.
