I've found that EG v3 will incorporate the settings of SAS (v9) it is
using. For example, if you have set up an autoexec file in the SAS
shortcut, EG (seems to) honor this. I forget the name of the
icon/button, but if you look into the directory listing of servers (or
something like that), you should see those directories that the libnames
in the autoexec are representing.
Otherwise, you could add to the EGv3 shortcut you use the path to your
autoexec (in double quotes), and when it starts, it should bring up that
file; run it upon EG initiation and you should be good.
Haven't tried this on EGv4 yet...
