Joshua Spence also reports seeing a Black-bellied Plover on 5/11/06 in North GA southwest Murray County, at Boukarts Sod Farm on the southside of the road. It is located in DeLorme 13 E-9 on a Center Hill-Ballground Rd. This road goes through the farm.

He also reports a Mourning Warbler on the same day, near the Power House at Carters Lake south of Chatsworth Drive about 2.25 miles north on OLD HWY (GA) 411 from its junction with Hwy 136. Go past current entrance to the re-regulation area and take a right onto Powerhouse Rd. Drive down this road until you reach the open brushy field. Take the first road on the right that loops around the field. Drive pass the Maintenance building & gravel piles and park where the road splits. The bird was in the brushy area on the right. There are several small trees. Look for a Honey Locust. It sang 10-15 times. He was able to attract the bird back several times using the Stokes Birdsong CD. See Giff Beaton's Birding GA book, pg 41 for a map of the area. DeLorme 13 F-10 http://listserv.uga.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0605&L=gabo-D=1&O=D&P=12948
