I currently have the following requirement seeking a SAS Programmer. Would you be interested in this position? Or would you be able to recommend someone who might be interested in this permanent position?

SAS Programmer - Rhode Island Title: Marketing Intelligence Analyst State: RI Job Description: Build and implement predictive, statistical models to optimize results of direct marketing campaigns Measure and develop profitable targeted marketing programs. Improve quality of analytical tools/methods used to manage marketing campaigns. Work with business managers to evaluate business needs, propose advanced analytical solutions that can deliver measurable results to act on. Present recommendations and findings. Develop and execute approaches to analyze information relating to customer activity, including segment based analyses, migration analyses (movement of customers between segments), customer value changes, and customer activity

Job Requirements: Master degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Computer Science or related field (business-related a plus) Programming proficiency with SAS language including SAS/Base, SAS/Stat, SAS macro language, CHAID, and SQL. Expert in applied statistical techniques: correspondence and cluster analysis, classification and regression trees, CHAID, factor analysis, survival analysis, attrition/retention modeling. Participate in project teams that utilize customer behavior information in their marketing processes, including Merchandising and Relationship Marketing Develop response and propensity models for DTC campaigns SQL experience, SAS experience in UNIX & PC environments 5+ years? experience in database marketing, direct marketing analysis and/or marketing research analyses. Experience in managing technically complex quantitative analytic projects.
