Subject: Advice on controlling SAS from inside excel.
Comments: To: sas-l@uga.edu
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hello;

I have had some success in controlling SAS from vb code in excel, but have run into many problems that are not covered in SAS online documentation on this subject. For example, I'm not sure how to mask/escape the quotes on submitted strings, or whether/how SAS macros can be submitted/included by submitting lines to SAS from vb. I'm hoping someone has further documentation they can recommend on this topic.

Thanks very much for any help.
