An adult Black-crowned Night-Heron was seen on Clayton Co. Water Authority property this weekend. This species has been found on the Huie ponds in the past (usually immature birds), so it's possible this one may turn up there or in the Wetlands Center marsh.
I'll be leading a birding field trip from the Wetlands Center tomorrow, Tuesday 4/11, starting at 8am. We should be able to find some good birds.
