Did a quick walk at the State Botanical Garden today at lunch time.
There was quite a bit of activity. We got 39 species in just over an
hour. Highlights are:
Sharp-shinned Hawk - 1
Red-shouldered Hawk - 2
Red-tailed Hawk - 1
Eastern Phoebe - 7
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 5
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 3 (1 singing!)
Golden-crowned Kinglet - 1
Cedar Waxwing - 50
Yellow-throated Vireo - 1
Blue-headed Vireo - 1
White-eyed Vireo - 1
Black-throated Green Warbler - 1
Northern Parula - 4
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 5
Pine Warbler - 1
The Vireo's were all heard, but we got great looks at FOTS Northern Parulas.
