Thanks for David's plug for my papers on PROC MEANS. I have two available for free download, in PDF Format, from my website, www.sierrainformation.com The first, Steps to Success with PROC MEANS is a beginner level tutorial. You can either download just the presentation or a zip file with the presentation, data sets and SAS code that you can then use to work on the examples yourself. The second presentation, Tips & Techniques for PROC MEANS, discusses some of the more advanced techniques available in PROC MEANS that were added in Version 8, including the IDGROUP option.
