Here is a direct quote from SAS tech support:

"The question is will Display Manager be upgraded? The company is
moving away from Display Manager in favor of Enterprise Guide (which
you can set up to use very similar to Display Manager). So, there are
no guarantees on how much more r! esources will be put into Display
Manager."
