Subject:   Importing MySQL data to SAS
Comments:   To: sas-l@uga.edu

Hi,

We have a MySQL database with some tables hosted in a dedicated server running Linux. However we work with SAS 9.1 under windows XP. What I have done is to download the MySQL database by FTP. How can I import data to SAS ans create a SAS datafile ? I know this can be done by an intermediate step though exporting first to ACCES or Excel but I would like to do it in a more direct way

Thank you
