Waterfowl numbers are building at Garden Lakes (Conasauga Lake, DeLorme
p.18, C4). Totals for the small east pond and the big lake today:

Pied-billed Grebe - 6
American Wigeon - 49
Ring-necked Duck - 99
Ruddy Duck - 5
American Coot - ~275

A couple days ago, I encountered a large flock of about 100 American Pipits
while roaming the farm roads in the southern  part of the county.
