highlights from Cochran Shoals, Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, Cobb County, 11/19/05
Lincoln's Sparrow--2.. The first one was half way down the cross trail on the left coming from the Powers Ferry parking lot. For the second continue down the trail to the gas pipeline cut where the trail turns right. The bird was about 100 yards down on the right at the edge of the woodline with Song Sparrows.
Fox sparrow--1 in the big field behind the bathroom.
Orange-crowned Warbler 2
Rusty blackbird 2
Ring-billed Gull 1 out over the river
Purple Finch 1
Winter Wren 7 They were all over
