Subject:   OLAP Viewer - SAS AppDev Studio (webAF)
Comments:   To: sas-l@uga.edu

Hi all,

I am using SAS Version 9.1.3 and AppDev Studio.

I have created an OLAP cube with PROC OLAP and would like to view the results on thw web (webapp).

We DO NOT use the SAS BI suite at present and so it is impossible to use an OLAP Information Map example from the SAS web site to build the OLAP viewer.

Can anyone provide a working example (using the Sales OLAP??) of an OLAP viewer that can be deployed without the use of Information Maps?

I am sure with some examples of which classes/packages to use I can come up with a solution which will allow us to move forward. The Multidimensional Report Viewer is a great solution for Version 8 and/or PROC MDDB, but I need to produce a "free" viewer without additional licensing.

We have AppDev Studio, SAS Integration Technologies, SAS/IntrNet in addition to basic SAS license (with GRAPH, STAT, etc.)

Any help in producing a working web app for Tomcat would be appreciated.

Cheers

Bob Whitehead
