Subject:   another odd (to me) feeding behavior
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Yesterday, I saw a small flock (seven birds) of House Finch feeding on the berries of a cedar tree in my yard. The frantic activity reminded me of the flocks of Cedar Waxwing that were doing the same last month. I have never seen this before.

Below is the URL to a site about the Passenger Pigeon memorial and a good, but sad, account of the last one and how it came to be. The numbers are unbelievable.
