Subject:   EL Huie 06/20/2005

Visited EL Huie today from about 9:30am to 11:00am, hoping for Least Terns, but not seen. Did have a few good birds, a nice male Blue Grosbeak in the weeds along the back of the mid-west pond, an Eastern Meadowlark on the 'telephone' pole sticking up out of the ne corner of the south pond, three Great Egrets that dropped in out of the clear blue sky into the mid-west pond. Still a young Double-crested Cormorant in the mid-west pond. The rest was the typical summer crowd. Hey, tan Saturn and white sedan with four people... I was in the dk red minivan.
