John -

The path name is in the view sashelp.vslib.

However, if you are accessing Oracle using SAS?Access for Oracle, your path is whatever was defined locally in Net8 as the name to use to reference the Oracle connection, and that could potentially be different from user to user.

Is there a way to obtain the oracle path information within a SAS application?

My platform is Windows, and I have specified dbprompt=yes in the libname statement. I would like to obtain the path that was entered and place in in the heading of the report via a macro variable.

Thanks
