FOTY: GRAY CATBIRD heard meowing then seen, and very patchy male INDIGO BUNTING on the 3rd story balcony near two loaded Goldfinch feeders this morning.

Harry woke me up to hear a GREAT HORNED OWL about 5:00 a.m. He said it had been carrying on for an hour. They are usually up on the mountain but this was closer than usual - we could easily hear it from inside the house.
