Subject: Can I create an array from a data set??

I am a newbie to SAS. Here is what I would like to do:

Select a distinct set of values from a data set and populate an array with this list. The list will change daily and I don't want to have to retype the values for the array each morning. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
