Hello everyone, Spring is in full swing and new birds reported daily. The Atlanta Adubon Society is leading two trips this weekend. Details follow. For more information please visit www.atlantaaudubon.org.

E.L. Huie and Newman Wetland Center Saturday March 26, Jim Wilson Meet at Wetland Center at 8 AM. Birding Focus: Songbirds, shorebirds, raptors and waterfowl Directions: Take I-75 south beyond I-285 to US 19/41 (Tara Blvd., exit 235); drive south for 8.2 miles to Freeman Rd. and turn left. The Newman Wetland Center is a mile or so down Freeman Road on the right after a sharp turn. Call the Wetlands Center for information about birding at both sites: 770.603.5606.

Fernbank Forest Saturday March 26, Georgann Schmalz Meet in side parking lot in front of observatory at 8 AM Directions: Fernbank Science Center is located at 156 Heaton Park Drive, Decatur. From I-285, take Stone Mountain Expressway (US 78) toward Decatur. It becomes Scott Blvd; turn right at Coventry Rd, then left at first light (Heaton Park Dr). From downtown Atlanta, take Ponce de Leon toward Decatur and turn left before RR bridge onto Artwood, then right on Heaton Park Dr.
