Subject:      reading SMF type 42-9

i have an urgent need to read SMF type 42 subtype 9 records
to analyze the x37 abends.

unfortunately, there's no MXG available.

i've got as far as isolating type 42 & subtype 9 (with SAS).
but i just can't get the other info, such as dsname, dsorg, disp, abend ...

suffering greatly from MXG-withdrawal, i'm having great trouble
with the x37 offset & length (SMF42ABO and SMF42ABL).

how can i decode this ?
