I saw two small groups of Sandhill Cranes near Canton today. About twenty birds were in the first group and about thirty were in the second. I caught up with the second group at the airport where they kettled (apropos) and were soon on the way north.

Nice view of the hills near Jasper and Sawnee Mountain to the east, and a BIG sky view from the airport ridge.
