Subject: SAS version updates?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Dear SAS-L,

Having never been involved in SAS licensing activities, I must ask the following stupid question:

Are 'sub' releases of SAS available for free upgrades? In other words, if I have SAS v8.0, can I upgrade to v8.2 without charge?

The reason I ask is that for whatever reason, our environment is set up such that our local (windows) PCs have v8.0, while a remote server (unix) on which we do most of our processing has v8.2. I'd like to install hotfixes for my local version, but the only ones I can find on the SAS site are for v8.2.

Thanks for your help! -Clueless
