Waterman Research Solutions, LLC (WRS), an analytical consulting firm based in St. Louis, MO, is seeking qualified applicants for a position as Director of Analytical Consulting.

Job Description

· Oversee and, where necessary, perform advanced statistical data analysis and statistical programming · Work directly with clients and other team members to understand and articulate analytical needs, select appropriate methods and establish key deliverables and timelines. · Coordinate technical output into actionable results/reports/presentations for clients · Ongoingly interact with clients via conference calls, emails and meetings to disseminate and communicate findings · Create work distribution allocation among WRS team members · Work with team to create and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of analytical projects · Establish and implement quality control processes with contractors, analysts and interns · Assist as needed in business development tasks including sales calls, marketing · Promote business to contacts and other professionals · Assist with development of lectures and training modules

Key Applicant Attributes

· Master’s or PhD in Biostatistics, Epidemiology or other quantitatively intensive discipline · Strong training in and understanding of research methods and applied statistics · 4+ years work experience in applied statistics, statistical consulting or related capacity · Excellent verbal communication skills · Ability to prioritize and complete tasks correctly within allotted timeframes · Ability to identify key components of a project and formulate a viable solutions · Strong results orientation · Ability to be both flexible and firm in meeting changing demands · Willingness to take personal accountability for quality of services and delivered results · Ability to function as part of a team
