Programmer Analyst position available

The Virginia Health Quality Center (www.vhqc.org), a health care quality improvement organization (QIO)located in the Innsbrook professional park of Richmond, Virginia area seeks a Programmer Analyst to provide programming services and technical assistance related to health care data and analysis. This is a full-time, permanent position.

REQUIREMENTS

BS required plus 3 yr. minimum experience programming in SAS. Proficiency in relational databases, such as Microsoft Access and Oracle and competence in producing database reports using Microsoft Access and Structured Query Language (SQL) and VBA also required. Knowledge of C++ and ASP a plus. Experience with health care data, UNIX, and technical writing also a plus.
