Sergio,

Local files get better performance than remote files. If you are having response time issues then make the file local.

Hello.

We have a file here, that have a lot of access, and this file are defined on CICSFOR (CICSEXT0).

We have here 44 CICS regions, but only one CICS do access on this file.

So, We think change the definition of this file, from FOR (CICSEXT0) to AOR (CICSEXT).

Another words, this file will be not remote but local.

What is better to CICS ? Let run CSMI in CICSFOR, or put this file local on CICSAOR.

Below the definition of file here :

CEXCHEQU CICSEXT0 OPEN ENABLED VSAM 0 5.7M CEX.MZ.ODQ2.MCHE CEXCHEQU CICSEXT N/A N/A REMOTE N/A 5.7M N/A

Thanks for any help.
