My first of the season Cedar Waxwings (2) greeted me from the top of a Winged Elm when I got home yesterday evening. They were calling back and forth to each other -- perhaps discussing the prospects of my yard, which is substantially wilder than my neighbors'.

Re: the possible Blackpoll -- Yah, it had wing bars, still does I assume :)
