Subject: Athens Red-breasted Nuthatch

We were thrilled to see a Red-breasted Nuthatch at our sunflower feeder in Athens this evening. This was the first one I've seen in Georgia -easier than a search in the N. Georgia Mountains! Hopefully it will stay around for awhile. Alice also saw a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak on the same feeder earlier in the afternoon.
