Did not work when the Application Dispatcher first came out. I just tried it again - and it still does not work.

I don't have access to IntrNet on Unix (or more specifically the Application Broker on Unix), but I vaguely recall a conversation way back about perhaps creating a short-cut on Unix systems for broker called broker.exe - that would have accomplished the same thing. I think it worked, but I can't recall. I believe that it was not pursued as the feeling was that such a technique/trick would not be well received - but once again my memory is hazy.

Have you tried creating a shortcut for "broker.exe" named "broker"? I don't have SAS/Intrnet for Windows, so I can't try it, but if it does work it would make references to the broker the same on all platforms, and the sample programs would work with fewer changes.
