In your C:\Program Files\SAS Institute\SAS\V8 directory (if you did the standard install), you should find a file called autoexec.sas. In that program, you put any command that you wish SAS to run upon startup. If the file does not exist, go ahead and create one.

Where do I add an executable statement so that when SAS fires up, the statement is executed. I want to add a libname statement so that the data it is pointing to will always be available when SAS starts. I am using SAS version 8.2 TS2M0 for Windows 2000 operating system.
