Correct. To do a ROLLBACK the file must be defined with RECOVERY
Backoutonly or All (which will also require a forward recovery log).

Hello all,
If a file is defined with None for the RECOVery parameter, does that mean
CICS cannot do a SYNCPOINT ROLLBACK for the updates to that file for a
transaction? (given that the program did a proper syncpoint)
Thanks in advance,
Greg Shirey
