Hi Alan,

I realize that its very popular so I'm trying the 10.2 Trial version to buy later. My changes/edits have to be done BY COLUMN so i need to know how to conver the file to columns do the changes, replaces, etc. then revert back to the original fixed length flat file. It seems that neither of the 2 convert options in COLUMN allow me to do that or am I missing something?
