Have you tried the function A1.R1C1(<logical>) ?

True for A1, false for R1C1.

Hello All,

I'm using DDE to open my Excel sessions, but I have not yet found a way to force Excel open in R1C1 refernce style. I have found a lot of references in Google on how _not_ to open Excel in this style, but none so far on how to make R1C1 the default. Can anybody help me out, please, with either the DDE command or changing the default in Excel?

Thanks in advance, Vlad
