Presently we are aggressively building our US consulting division and searching for qualified SAS programmers. We have many SAS opportunities in the east cost and mid-west. For the right candidate (residing in the United States) we will sponsor H1-B and Permanent Residency.

Job Description: #1 Client: Major Financial Services Company Location: Mid-west Compensation: Market Requirements: These are "must have" requirements and after a tech check the right candidate will be given a rigorous technical interview by the client

1. 5+ years of Base SAS (Macro is a plus, Proc Sql knowledge is required) and Teradata experience (solid DB2 knowledge will be considered instead of DB2).

2. Unix knowledge with shell scripting proficiency 3. MVS experience (JCL and Syncsort) 4. Ab Initio experience will be considered a plus.

# 2 Client: Business Consulting Firm (not a staffing company) At least 3 openings Location: East Coast Compensation: Market

Requirements: 1. 2-5 years of strong Base SAS skills (Macro and Proc SQL skills included) in the industry 2. Must have experience in supporting analysts and modelers 3. Must have proven track record in handling large financial data and must be able to work with complex data 4. Educational qualification: Undergraduate (Graduate degree is a definite plus) in computer science ,quantitative fields such as economics, statistics are preferred. 5. Excellent communications skill is a must. Client will interview after a tech check by Tranzxn.

#3 Client: Major US Bank Location: East Coast Compensation: Market

Requirements: 1. Formal Computer science training/background strongly desired. 2. Seasoned SAS skills - specifically macros (not keen on modeling background or industry background) 3. Expertise in efficient, low-maintenance coding in a high-volume data environment. 4. Expertise in rigorous software development cycle and processes. 5. Ability to insure quality of existing code and validate complex data

Job Description: This individual will be responsible for building production code in support of our clients new reporting efforts.

Duration: 3 months to start with possible renewal. This client always took people on a short period and then renewed the contract.

#4 Client: Major US Lending Company Location: East Coast Compensation: Market Requirements: 1. 3-5 years experience in BASE SAS on Unix and MVS. Proc SQL knowledge is required. 2. Must be able code efficiently to handle extremely large datasets 3. SAS Macro is a plus 4. Should be able to generate ad hoc and production reports to support analysts 5. Must be able to meet deadlines consistently.
