Calling all SAS users in the Pacific Northwest! You don't want to miss out
on the upcoming SAS user events taking place in the coming months.
First, as a reminder the 21st annual Pacific Northwest SAS Users Group
conference will take place September 19th-21st, 2004 at the Sheraton
<http://www.sheratonportland.com/index2.html> Portland Airport Hotel in
Portland, Oregon. This will be an exciting conference with many new
educational and networking opportunities for SAS users in the regions. But
we need your help to make the conference a success! You can help in one of
two ways. First, share your knowledge of SAS with other users by submitting
a conference paper. Presenters receive a $50 discount on registration fees
and also play an integral role in the conference. Paper abstracts are due
by June 1, 2004. For more details, see the Call for Papers at:
http://www.pnwsug.net/CFP2004.pdf. Second, users can also volunteer to
chair sessions, assist with registration or help with other conference
tasks. This is a conference for users and by users, so we want YOU to get
involved.
This May and June, the Pacific Northwest SAS Users Group will be sponsoring
free half-day SAS seminars in seven Northwest cities. This 'road show'
features three full-length presentations on various aspects of SAS software
presented by nationally-recognized SAS experts. The road show will swing
through the Northwest on the following dates:
. Monday, May 17 Corvallis, OR
. Tuesday, May 18 Portland, OR
. Wed., May 19 Olympia, WA
. Thursday, May 21 Seattle, WA
. Monday, May 31 Victoria,
. Wed., June 2 Spokane, WA
. Friday, June 4 Boise, ID
For locations, agenda and registration information, see the Pacific
Northwest User Group website at www.pnwsug.net <http://www.pnwsug.net/> .
Thank you for your support..
