Hello All,

I am trying to help someone whose data is in an SPSS .sav file. I want to import the file into SAS. I used the SPSS save facility and saved the file as an excel file. I then tried to use the SAS 8.2 import facility to import the excel file. Following are the error messages I received:

ERROR: Region too small for object P_STMTS. ERROR: Region fill failure, operation aborted.

The same error messages were generated when I used SPSS to save the data as a dbf file and tried to import the dbf file into sas.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Jamie
