fyi, I have cleared Passport Services at CDC with a note that I may use my personal passport for international travel to a SUG conference since I am only traveling as a federal employee once within recent memory or the forseeable future.

next stop: federal travel office where I should probably have that doc signed in blood that says I may travel outside the US on my personal passport once.
