Hey Charles,

I enjoyed your little tutorials on your website.

I saw these videos demoed at a local HASUG meeting. Pretty good quality and content was developed by Destiny (not SAS INstitute).

The price I believe is about $300 per CD (for 1 class) and is good for 1 full year. But I suggest you contact Stew Silverman or Dana Rafiee of vDestiny to get the actual pricing schedule and how long the CDs are legal for internal use.

Much better quality then what I tried to create back in April 2000 but the technology has gotten much better since then. I gave up because people were not willing to spend that kind of money for a CD. In fact it seemed people were only willing to spend about $10 or so. It was a no brainer for me to decide this was not worth doing (at least back then) to continue to try to build additional materials.

And in the past 4 years, I have only received about 12 contacts askign for more online videos - so the numbers just were not there to justify spending 200 or so manhours to develop a 1 hour video class.

But maybe Destiny and others will have more success with this than I did - and they have more $$$ and resources to do a better job than I did.

HTH, Charles Patridge

This is not a plug for Destiny or any other such company - just my opinion.
