Subject:      Screech Owl in the box

Vocal evidence last night, and this morning visual confirmation.  I
have a Screech Owl in a nest box.  It looks for all the world like a
perfect cross between the two that nested successfully in 2002.
Their individual faces are so distinctive.  It was doing the soft
call and I did not hear an answer so I don't know if it's advertising
for a mate or already got one.
