| Subject: | Warbler imitating hummingbird! |

As a beginning birder, I'm still fascinated by the antics of my backyard
feeder birds. Fortunately my backyard borders a woodland/wetland area,
and I do see a fair share of atypical birds at the feeders.
I have an "upside down" suet feeder to deter grackles and such, and today
thought I saw an extremely large hummingbird beneath the suet feeder.
Closer observation showed a yellow rumped warbler frantically beating its
wings in order to "hover" beneath the feeder long enough for a poke or two
at the suet. Made my day.
Best Regards,
