Dear Avril,

You have to see the two final printed issues of Hawaiian Shell News (1996: New series #437, and #438). These contain excellent photos of (nearly) all the Hawaiian triphorid species.

Best wishes for 2004,

Hello Conchlers,

A snowy cold day here in Invermere British Columbia so I'm working on some fascinating though very small shells I collected in Hawaii. These shells I think are all members of the Triphoridae family. I am trying to get an id on the species but even using Alison Kay's book, I am having trouble. Many of my shells are quite worn as they have all been found on beaches or tide pools.

If you think that you could help me properly identify these little beauties, I have set them up on a mystery page at: http://www.manandmollusc.net/Mystery_shell_pages/mystery_shell_avril-03.html

Thanks in advance for any and all help, Avril Avril Bourquin P.O. Box 366 Invermere, B.C. Canada V0A 1K0
