Currently a client in the internet marketing industry is looking to fill up a temp to permanent marketing analyst position in NYC. Please see the description below. Marketing Data Analyst: Local Candidates Only Overall Role and Responsibilities: As part of the marketing team, the ideal candidate will use SAS extensively to: -Help identify ideal target customer segments for direct marketing campaigns, leveraging such techniques as logistic and regression modeling -Evaluate customer responsiveness to various direct marketing programs -Leverage SAS/Access to pull and manipulate data from multiple data sources -Determine ROI of marketing programs Track and analyze customers attributes and buying patterns

-Tracking and reporting campaign results, including channel response analysis -Assist in determining customer acquisition and retention rates -Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for up-selling and cross- selling -Measure the economic value of each customer through various techniques, such as RFM and lifetime value modeling -Assist in defining and designing marketing analytics technology requirements

Required Skills and Competencies: -Proven analytic and quantitative skills and data analysis capability -Outstanding statistical and technical proficiency -Familiar with market research analysis techniques, such as factor analysis, cluster analyses, CHAID, etc. -Experience working with various databases and data sources -Familiar with cataloging and distribution/fulfillment companies -Strong understanding of marketing concepts

Work and Educational Experience Requirements: -BS in Operations Research, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics or related field

-Masters degree a plus -2 plus years working in a direct marketing or catalog business -4 plus years SAS programming and analysis experience
