Subject: PROC FSEDIT Option 4
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi to all,

I am becoming pretty desperate in terms of assigning special attributes to fields using PROC FSEDIT.

I've found how to create the screen, how to define the fields I want to see and how to save the screen.

But when I try to use option 4 nothing will happen. The HELP says that I should select Next attribute (or Last attribute) from the View menu to access attribute screens. But such a screen never appeared. I can not assign an attribute to a field. I can only see the identifier of the type of attribute I am looking at at the top center of the frame. That's all.

Who can help me? How can I assign the attributes to the fields?

Another problem is how to format messages on the screens (e.g. codelists, examples etc. ) in another colour. I've tried everything in TOOLS-OPTIONS-COLORS but it never changed the addionally entered text. Is there another possibility (somewhere?????).

We are using SAS 8.12 (Windows 2000).

Thanks a lot
