Here is some related info from SI web site. Is PROC MODEL documentation
available in online docs?.
FAQ # 220
Q: I used to use the SYSNLIN and SIMNLIN procedures,
but now I can't find them in the documentation. What
happened to these procedures?
A: In Version 6, the SYSNLIN, SIMNLIN, and MODEL Produc
procedures were rolled into one new MODEL procedure. t or
The FIT statement in PROC MODEL provides the same Soluti
functionality as PROC SYSNLIN (that is, parameter on:
estimation), and the SOLVE statement provides the same SAS/ET
functionality as PROC SIMNLIN (that is, model S
simulation and forecasting). Although we encourage you
to convert to the new syntax for future models you Operat
develop, PROC SYSNLIN and PROC SIMNLIN syntax is still ing
recognized by the system. It is simply converted System
internally to the appropriate PROC MODEL code. : All

Please respond to Jan
Winchell
Where can I find documentation on PROC SYSNLIN ? I am running 8.2 and
there is nothing on PROC SYSNLIN in the online doc system. Or at least
not that I can find. Am I missing something?
