The 'My SAS Files' is just a directory created during the SAS installation process, so can be deleted or renamed by you at any time. It has no special inherent meaning within SAS.

If it's being used as your default working directory it's as a result of the 'Start In' location specified in the Windows shortcut. Other uses may be specified in your config.sas file. (Sorry, it's not called that by default any more, is it, but I can't remember the new name - config.sasv8cfg, is it? ).
