Michael,

For some reason, no one yet has mentioned the SAS WebHound product, which at least claims to deliver "accurate and up-to-date information regarding your Web site traffic". Information about this product is available from http://www.sas.com/products/webhound/index.html.

I do not know much about the ins and outs of web reporting, and I am not familiar with the product, but you might want to look into it. It might be on the expensive side, which may or may not be a big issue for you.

On the other hand, maybe there's a reason why no one else has mentioned it ...

Good luck!

Hello,

we currently have a Realtime Reporting tool that was written in house by a contractor, mainly in korn shell.

Unfortunatly it is hardly documented and to make things worse it is breaking regularly.

I am new to SAS and I am currently trying to build a business case to replace the existing (but broken) implementation with something new.

I have been told by my manager that the preference would be an "off the shelve" product that can be customized to our needs, though the senior SAS Engineer here isn't aware of any such tool.

The biggest issue with the website demand is that it has to be near real time and according to my sources SAS just isn't good in doing that.

Does anybody have some idea / hints / leads / links?

Thanks.

Michael
