I'm running in a Windows 2000 environment I'm running this command x 'c:\program files\microsoft office\office\excel.exe'; to create an excel file

In order to run I must manually open a blank excel spreadsheet. I was hoping that this or systask would do it for me but it doesn't. Any ideas?
