True. However, while you have the file open in the Enhanced Editor, you can paste it elsewhere and retain the highlighting in many apps. Try copying it into MS Wordpad, or your mail program, and see whether the highlighting stays. Of course, if you save that as text, the highlighting is lost. But the individual app may see the highlighted text as representing soemthing other than plain text...
