Correct me all if I'm wrong...

The highlighting is only fonctionnal in an Enhanced Editor window. If you open you SAS program in the Windows Notepad or Workpad, you won't have the colors available.

Is the Enhanced Editor the default editor when you open SAS ? If not, then you should go into the option window and change the default editor for the Enhanced Editor.

Sincerely,

Patrice Bourdages :-)

syntax highlighting in enhanced editor works only in news windows. After the programm is saved, no colors are shown. Is there an option anywhere, to install permanent syntax highlighting with colors?
